Moffitt Cancer Center goes live at McKinley

More than 200 patients and visitors used RouteMe in the first few days of the soft launch.

Moffitt Cancer Center launched RouteMe at its McKinley campus this summer. Within the first few days of the soft launch, more than 200 patients and visitors had used it to find their way.

Why it matters for cancer care

Patients arriving for treatment have enough on their minds. Clear, step by step video directions from the entrance to the right clinic remove one more source of stress, for patients and for the staff who would otherwise stop to give directions.

Listening and improving

The soft launch is also a feedback loop. Moffitt's team flagged priorities like showing nearby destinations first when a QR code is scanned on campus and fine tuning haptics, and those improvements are part of the roadmap as RouteMe grows across more Moffitt buildings.
